TAMAN AYUN TEMPLE

Taman Ayun Temple is a temple that is used as an altar by Hindu people specially exists on Bali Island and it is one of the heritages from the Mengwi Empire. It is encircled by a big fishpond with a huge temple area. The temple buildings are boosted with high philosophy, story, and religion. Inside this temple area, there is a small fishpond that encircles the main temple building. Other buildings in this temple area are reflecting the empire’s power with each function.

JATILUWIH RICE TERRACE

​Once a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site candidate, the Jatiluwih rice terraces comprise over 600 hectares of rice fields that follow the flowing topography of the Batukaru mountain range. These are maintained by a traditional water management cooperative known as Subak, which dates back to the 9th century.
