BATUAN TEMPLE
Batuan Temple is a local Balinese Hindu temple looked after by the local resident of the Batuan countryside. The temple is designed very beautifully and full of Balinese ornaments and the roof temple building is made from the fiber of a chromatic black palm tree. It is strategically located beside the main road from Denpasar to Ubud.
TIRTA EMPUL TEMPLE
Tirta Empul, meaning “holy water spring” is actually the name of a water source located within the temple. The spring feeds various purification baths, pools, and fish ponds surrounding the outer perimeter, which all flow to the Tukad Pakerisan River. Multiple sites throughout the region and many other archaeological relics relate to local myths and legends.

Rising from the rugged hills of Bali’s Bukit Peninsula, the magnificent Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue watches over the island. The towering statue is Bali’s most iconic landmark and depicts the Hindu God Wisnu and the mythical eagle, Garuda. Designed by renowned Balinese artist Nyoman Nuarta, the Garuda is the national emblem of Indonesia, an enduring symbol of freedom from oppression. Soaring to a height of almost 400 feet, this is one of the tallest monumental statues in the world.
TAMPAK SIRING
Istana Kepresidenan Tampaksiring was built on the initiative of Indonesia's first president Sukarno. It has been a holiday destination for the Indonesian president and his family and high-ranking state guests during their stay in Bali from the beginning. The cool air and relative distance from the city's crowds were considered when choosing the location for Tampaksiring.
